I want to help you get fit for FREE!
“From what we get, we can make a living; what we give, however, makes a life.” ~ Arthur Ashe
To my wonderful friends and family,
With the seasons changing, I have been doing a lot of reflecting on 2016 thus far. I decided to revisit my new years goals because I have started to feel a bit stagnant and comfortable. Just kind of coasting and living in my comfort zone. There is nothing wrong with chilling in a comfortable place for a bit and taking a breather from massive goals and projects. I find that to maintain balance, we need those little rest periods so we have the energy to reignite that fire with a vengeance when opportunities and ideas present themselves. The thing with coasting is you need to nip it in the bud before it turns from coasting to "stuck". I have been stuck before and once you get there it is hard to get out. While revisiting my goals, I remembered that I really wanted to try to give back to the community this year. What better way to get out of my own head and sometimes selfish grind, then to give back to others! With that in mind, I have been setting my intention on figuring out what charities and causes spoke to me or what I have to offer others that I can share. Then, the seemingly OBVIOUS popped into my head! I remembered that having a personal trainer is a luxury that many people cannot afford. I help guide a lot of people towards leading a healthier life, and I would like to offer my services to someone that wouldn't normally be able to hire me. So what I have decided to do is to offer 1 free personal training session, 1 goal setting session AND a personalized kick starter clean eating meal plan to a different person each month. I am hoping that this will give a healthy jumpstart to someone that wants to get fit, but doesn't know where to start and doesn't necessarily have the means to hire a coach to guide them. While I am practicing giving back, I encourage you all to as well. I invite you to nominate someone instead of applying yourself. Think of someone in your life that you would like to give the gift of fitness to. I love this quote from one of my favorite coaches Chris Lee, " When we give without expectations, what comes back is unexpected and multiplied".
The free experience will include:
-1 half hour phone call or Skype consultation with me where we discuss fitness goals and create a plan to set you up to achieve them.
-A one hour private training session with me. The training session will be geared towards teaching a workout that can be repeated and progressed on your own.
-A PDF of the workout we did together.
-A PDF of a personalized clean eating meal plan.
-If you decided to continue with training, with either myself or one of my incredible trainers you will receive 25% off of any training package.
Here are the rules on applying to win the session:
-You can either nominate yourself or someone you think is deserving of the session. (Only nominate 1 person please).
-You cannot be a current or past client of mine, however if you are you can still nominate someone else.
-You, or the person you are nominating must be in NY and able to come to my location on the Upper West side for the session.
How do you apply?
-If you are nominating someone, send me a short message (via the contact page on my site) explaining why you think that person deserves the session and how they would benefit from it. Include yours and that person's email and phone number.
-If you are applying yourself, give me a little background on you and why you would like to kickstart your fitness goals with this session. Please include your email and phone number.
I will read all submissions and choose my top 5. These top 5 people will be notified. Then I will literally pick one winner at random out of a hat. I will do the drawing on the last day of each month. If you do not win, your submission will roll over to the next month. However, you can still nominate a new person each month even if you still have yourself or someone else in the running!
I really look forward to starting this program. I hope that I can use my knowledge and skills to inspire someone to begin on a path towards a healthier lifestyle! Can't wait to read your submissions!
