Have you noticed that society has been drilling into us that the road to success in anything has to be difficult.
We are programmed that we have to struggle, pound the pavement and grind it out in order to succeed.
Eventually, I started to believe this to be true, and all of my goals became much harder. Not because they were hard, but because I was making them hard.
Here’s how it worked... I would set a goal, then I would self sabotage.
WHY did I self-sabotage? Because it was supposed to be hard... right?
But then this incredible ah-ha moment happened for me...
I realized I WAS CHOOSING things to be hard with my thoughts and beliefs.
So I asked myself, “What would it be like if I believed success was FUN and EASY?!?”
So I decided to give it a try...
I started by just changing the way I spoke about things. Even if something felt like the HARDEST F*ING THING ON THE PLANET, I simply announced to myself that it was easy and fun.
Guess what...??!! It WORKED!
So here is my dare of the day for you:
Make the choice that today is going to be easy!
And you can do it in only 2 minutes a day!
Declare that every task, (whether it’s eating healthy, working out, writing a chapter of your book, making a sale, giving a presentation, having a vulnerable conversation) is FUN and will happen with ease.
Daily Affirmation: Try saying, “I am so grateful that today was easy, effortless and fun.”
Say it enough and I promise you will start to believe it. Then choose to take action on the task with energy, enthusiasm and excitement instead of fear and dread.
We get to choose how we feel, think and believe. Once you realize this, you can shift your thoughts and manifest literally ANYTHING you want.
